The modernist style of my architect father and my own experience as a dancer and performer have influenced my artwork. Whether it’s a bold metal sculpture, a colorful cast glass design or a whimsical painted mural, my work reflects my love for contemporary design, beautiful movement and theatrics. In my sculptures, I like to mix organic shapes with geometric angles in order to create a sense of activity. The use of vivid color and light refraction play a major role in my pieces. I received a B.S. in interior design and trained in sculpture, painting and mixed media at the University of Louisville. I worked as a commercial interior designer before devoting myself completely to my artwork. I am currently exploring new directions in glass with VitraMax Group, Inc.
